Just watching Nightmare Neighbour Next Door. It's amazing how quickly neighbours can escalate hostilities.
I'm lucky that I get on really well with my neighbours now. We help each other out, aren't too much in each other's faces but I think - it's just right.
When I got my first house, at one stage the house attached to mine was rented out. She had all night parties, music blaring until 3 am. Swore whenever I asked her to turn it down. Garden was a tip and the house. It only stopped when she moved out. It was 6 months of deprived sleep, not in a good way!
Are yours good? Bad or indifferent? |

I have one nosy neighbour, but that's cos he's old and bored. He gave me a knowing smile last time I had someone round here..
The other side is great! She even said she would feed the cats for me if I ever wanted to stay over somewhere without having to explain to my mum where I am going |

Yes, one side is a single guy of 60 works away all week, sometimes bangs doing diy at the weekend.
Others is a single woman 65, is lovely, there when I need her or she me but certainly not in your face, she's also very thoughtful

I get on with rest of neighbours including across the rd, but ive known them years
as ive usually helped them or offered to help them
theres just one and due to a small branch of tree cut down to watch his property while they wasnt living in it I got threatened for it
we havent spoke since and if we do its a quick comment or totally ignored as im not interested in him
he cuts wood at all hrs of the day and night so I get the metal grinder out during daylight hrs correct time or the big stone grinder out
though I like my music loud I havent played it loud but I have the systems to play it loud if I wanted to do, as i have the music to kick the base out and right |

Had to move house twice because of the incessant barking of neighbour's dogs - try and speak to them about it - WW3 - total ignorant fuckers neighbours at times |

I live in a block of flats- 6 flats, 2 on each floor. Lucky as they are all pretty good, no late parties or music into the early hours.
Flat below me can be a pain. Daughter is 13 & has major temper tantrums most mornings & evenings but overall I'm quite lucky. |

There are sixteen flats in my stair... I'm the busybody who organises the stair cleaning and the grass cutting. We'd all be living in a manky jungle if I didn't do it.
Generally my neighbours are pretty cool although I did go and knock downstairs a few weeks ago. His surround sound was making my floor vibrate. He answered the door followed by a puff of smoke. Very apologetic. I came back upstairs and there was paranoid silence. |

Got a gay couple one side, really nice guys and get on great with them.
A mother (70s) and daughter (50s) combo the other. Fell out with the daughter years ago and haven't spoken a polite word to her since, I mean I have spoken to her, she was phoning the police at the time to tell them we had parked on the road in front of her house |

I'm really fortunate with my neighbours. We all help each other, share chores and one took me to an initial one on one social meet and kept watch, ensuring I was ok.
I came from a rural small community, where we all knew each other and shared and helped, so it's normal. Even in central London, neighbours like judges etc were all very social and supportive. You get the positive connections you need and deserve, where the others are decent. |

My neighbours are cheeky, will come in my house and steal my clothes and shoes or my food. I'm talking about my younger sister as her and my mum are my neighbours! |

I live in a block of flats, some are brilliant, infact I've even got jiggy jiggy with one of them a few times
There are others though that I wouldn't cross the road to piss on if they were on fire
Hopefully I'm moving to somewhere much quieter in a couple of months |

We have not lived here very long but seem to get on with them all. Were a bit of a mystery to them. Its a four bedroom house we have we owned it for years rented it out Spent a lot of money doing it up the back garden is private and no one can see in.
If only they new what went on at our house at times don,t think they would talk to us |
