Why do people always use the "had a tough start in life" line? I had a tough start but I don't go around showing pics off all about the place, to be fair though it was more the solicitor that said that, what she did was wrong, no doubt, but was the sentence and conditions a little harsh? I personally think it was |

I don't condone what she did one little bit but it seems a very harsh sentence for a singular instance.
"
Indeed. Perhaps there was more to it not reported.

She committed a criminal offence (by sounds of it) and received a criminal sentence. Good.
I expect the forum would have been in meltdown if it had been a man showing these images to minors.. |

There's a priceless comment in the commenta section (really).
"Swinger? She's bigger than a wrecking ball."

I liked the way it somehow descended into a Ukip vs Militant Tendancy spat towards the bottom.
I think more of OUR threads should blame politicians:
"Why can't I get a meet? My parents used to have sex back in the 70s, when we had proper socialist governance "

No not harsh, the sentence for such offenses is set within a range. They said she "showed" them not that they happened to see, the implication being it was a deliberate act. If do with what purpose in mind, the judge said there'd was no evidence it was an act of grooming but what was her reason, no legal proof doesn't mean it isn't the case.
jail seems fair to me, don't forget she only serves half in custody and half on licence. |
