I used to watch Neighbours but haven't now for a few years.
Eastenders was good when it was on twice a week, now it's even more depressing with storylines spread thinly over the week. |

I confess to being an occasional Coronation Street watcher in the days before the mature characters were turned into caricatures and the plots became dominated by lust, death and disaster. |

Yep I watch soaps..series dramas anything that is going.
TV is always on for my company as well as the birds who love the adverts. Makes them sing and dance if the house is quiet they dont interact. |

I'm not a soap opera watcher but there are various series I love to watch that have been running for a long time (CSI, Criminal Minds).
I asked because I went off to get my Monday night tv fix in the day room and the nurses all thought I was watching Emmerdale and another patient came in and settled down and said "you are watching Corrie aren't you?"
They all seemed a bit bemused by my beeb2 fix of the pennine way, university challenge, only connect and a new programme about the Bloomsbury group. It seems that tv addicts are expected to watch soaps. |

"Nah, I don't know why but I find them insanely boring. I'd rather watch a documentary or sport or read a good book. "
Do you have preferences with documentaries or will you settle down to pretty much any documentary? |

I'm really into anything to do with natural history or the universe. It's fascinating just how little and insignificant the the little blue ball we all inhabit is! |

I am guessing it is because you are female, most people think only women watch soaps
I am guessing like me, a lot of people watch lots of different programmes and not just soaps though. |

Neighbours when I was at school, and they still used ex-crossroads sets.
Used to watch hollyoaks with the sound off.
But El Dorado for sheer comedy value. |

Joe Mangle in Neighbours and Alf in Home and Away were the only real Aussie men in the soaps. They didn't finish every sentence with that modern intonation?
Used to watch The Sullivans at dinnertimes as a kid as well. No worries mate! |

Neighbours is the only current soap I watch. Watched it since I was a kid. Just can't stop now.
Also currently making my way through the complete run of Prisoner Cell Block H on dvd! Bearing in mind I've already watched all 692 episodes before when I was younger! I'm a big fan. |
