My tv only usually gets turned on if there's something specific that I want to watch like a good film, documentary, comedy or sporting event. Other than that I just have ma sounds on

Another question:

Is there any TV series that is still watchable beyond Season 6? It seems to me that either the programme makers run out of ideas or the writing quality deteriorates.

I think they seem to make something that is a success, then wring the life out of it .... one example is last of the summer wine

Just had a google of it. Dunno what to think. Sounds boring but i suppose sheep herding does need promoting more (no idea why).

There are bbq restaurants popping up all over the place and there's a big american food/bbq food craze going on.

Real american bbq is not just sticking a few bangers on the barbie. I want to watch this show!

Central

I dislike food, home hunting and many other show themes that seem to have proliferated ad nauseam. Not to mention the shows that demonise the unemployed, sick etc.

Thing is, there have been so many good programmes over the years.

Wish the bbc had been able to put all their archives online.

But the current stuff? I only watch sport +odd doco
