Mrs ddc and I may have accidentally finished an entire bottle of wine whilst waiting for the roast.potToes.

Apologies in advance.for.any dodgy grammer/punctuation/slightly ill-considered statements. I may have.to resurrect my idea for differently coloured posts so that tonight's drivel may be forgiven whennit is resurrected in three weeks time.

Mr (hic) ddc

(I blame admin: how hard could it be to have an anti-tipsy facility? Eg, make the 'post message' button move and harder to hit)

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Are you having anything with those toes in pots? More importantly, what did you make for pud today?

I've been weaving... and sober as a sober thing that only drinks water.

Mrs ddc made a strawberry cheesecake with (almost) the last of our strawberries. Surprisingly it is the first time in a long time we didn't use the smoke detector to know when something she'd cooked was ready....

You are pushing it. Mrs DDC, I hope that, like me, your snore is worse after alcohol.

i have a post tramlins festival daughter splayed out on the sofa - due mostly to a higher than recommended ratio of gin to tonic consumed over yesterday and into the early hours of this morning

Oi!

I've already told that Fireblade fella I'm not a grampa.

If you must know I'm actually only 32, but the stress of living with Mrs ddc has sure taken its toll.....

(Later on, I won't quite be sure if the headache was caused by the wine, or the inevitable frying pan...

)

He's just run over, given me a quick kiss goodnight and cleared off to bed. He really is the cheekiest man alive.

Right off to bed myself...

Now where's the frying pan/rolling pin/empty bottle of wine?

Do not expect him to be posting in the morning!
