As much as I'd like a day off, it will cost millions for to pay for all the overtime of public sector workers. Not to mention the cost of road closures, and transport over-use to the detriment of the citizens of London.

Dont mind having a "national" holiday... But surely on a Bank holiday the bankers would go to work for once...

Good for tourism....souvenir sales boosting cash flow....productivity increases based on feelgood factor....
