According to the urban dictionary this is the definition of swinging:
A lifestyle of non-monogany where sexual relations occur outside the established couple. Swingers tend to refrain from romantic attachments with their outside partners, thus differentiating themselves from PolyAmorists. There is some overlap between the two communities, though the closeness of the comparisons are generally not acknowledged.
Based on what you've seen in the forums and on the site, give your definition of swinging

Well on the forums it's primarily those who like to talk a lot about swinging . Rarely meeting , and frowning on those that do .
Outside the forums , more like the general description , meeting others for NSA sexual encounters .

Personally, I feel that swinging has evolved way beyond the "Wife swapping" that it once was.
My definition would be something like:
A lifestyle where couples have "loads of fun" through enjoying sexual interaction with others, either in a group sex situation or through swapping partners.

If we are going by what happens most on this site... i would say Swinging is..
a bunch of men competing against one another to win 'tuck-me-up time' with ladies and couples.
a group of ladies who enjoy the brutality of power over who gets their attention...
and couples that enjoy taunting singles by initiating them to the world of Voyeurism.
