That road is one of the most beautiful bits of mountain road I've ever seen, no wonder its called the the shoelace,

That is a bonk to climb before you die

rochdale

Aye, a fantastic bit of road to ride.

Apparently Bardet used an 11-32 cassette today, that's my excuse for a big cassette right there!

Very interesting today, bet quintana is wishing he had attacked like that a few day's ago.

Don't think he will make up enough time tomorrow.

Both nibali and quintana distanced froome today, do we think there will be questions about their drug use?

Sky can't complain, a few years back when Wiggins won, having been neck and neck with Contador, he, Contador lost a chain and Sky immediately put the hammer down.

That's true but when Cadeleigh had puncture due to tacks sky slowed for him.

I think Froome just rode to his numbers so he didn't go too deep. He has today on his mind

Will Quintana go early enough today to bag 2 or 3 minutes?

Or save it all for the last climb, which he usually does

Really looking forward to today's stage. It's got a classic profile and the Froome v's Quintana has a classic climbing battle all over it.

I'm sticking with Chris, he's kept some beans in the tank for today.

What a finale to a brutal little hill climb.

Fair play to all of those guys, pure machines.

Definitely, big up to the Movistar boys to make it interesting.

Quintana is a climbing monster, gotta be a matter of before he takes a winners yellow in Paris?

How many more do we think Chris can win?

It was horrible footage from yesterday of the guy spitting at Froome and apparently he got urine chucked at him. Some spectators take it all too far!

Cracking stage today.

Chuffed to see pinot get the stage even if he did throw a hissy fit earlier in the race.

Quintana was class today.

But froome is a worthy winner, never panicked, kept plugging away.

Looked like the champ within first few day's of the race.

Chapeau "sir"

Chris froome.

There's a video on facebook from the Sky team car, Dutch spectators banging on the car, throwing drinks over the windscreen etc. not very pleasant to be in there I bet
