"...or Brian Cox
No. He's a Fop and an ex band boy.
...and a professor of particle physics
Thinking womans' crumpet... "
See. I find him drippy and irritating.
I like the one that left Blur to make sheeps cheese.
Is he a scientist ? |

He's still in Blur. Better looking in the flesh I found. I haven't eaten his cheese though.

Sir Paul Nurse spins fairly believable science as does Saul Griffith whose mathematical breakdown of humanities energy consumption verses our planets ability to supply that demand indicates an apocalyptic not too distant future...... |

"Carl Sagan the daddy of them all as he had a brain the size of Jupiter!
Carl Sagan is Stephen Hawking's bitch!"
I think Carl is just a little bit more eloquent and possibly simplistic than Stephen in that trying to read A Brief History of Time is very complex to understand but anything Carl wrote (like Cosmos or Cosmic Connection) I find very accessible. |

If it squirms, it's biology; if it stinks, it's chemistry; if it doesn't work, it's physics and if you can't understand it, it's mathematics...

Love watching Professor Brian Cox on telly, so enthusiastic about what he does. Also love watching Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock whenever she's on telly as she just bubbles with the same type of enthusiasm, they're both easy on the eye too |

He blinded me with science.
Loved watching him, so enthusiastic and always got the point across so us lesser minds could understand.
That's a talent in itself |

I love Saul, what an infectious attitude to life and solving problems.
There's tonnes of seriously clever people out there that have great ideas but even they admit the time is NOW tomorrow is to late to solve anything |
