I'm wondering if anyone can recommend me a good hotel in Leeds. One that's easy to get to and one that u can go up to the room to with no disturbances or being stopped. Considering the Hilton but wondering whether their security is strict or not. Thanks!! X |

Im looking at the Hilton now but I don't want a hotel where u can't get to the rooms without any hassle. I wouldn't want my guests being stopped on arrival and asked where they were heading etc or am I worrying too much? Have u stayed at the Hilton before? X

"Malmasion is nice good rooms too central "
I'll have a look at that. My main aim is to get a room where you won't be stopped if my friend wants to pay me a visit. I'm very tempted by the Hilton but it's not like I can call them and ask them "do u stop people who are trying to get up
To the rooms!" "Do u need a card to get up?" Lol x |

"Don't think hotels bother as long as you pay. Never had any issues in any I've stayed in.
"
Aah ok maybe you're right. I'm
Just bit concerned still would hate for people be stopped. Be awkward. I stayed in travelogue once and the lady wouldn't let my visitor through because I booked the room
Under one person. That was difficult |

Travel lodges can be buggers! I booked one but because I didn't call on the day to say I was coming, they nearly gave my room to someone else.
If your guests know the room number they could just walk up, or meet them in the bar.
Have fun either way |

Thank you. Should I just go for Hilton then?! I'm still worried. My guests tend to be very discrete lol so I wouldn't put them in a awkward situation x |

From what I can recall you don't need a key card for the room the reception is set back and always fairly busy so anyone visiting shouldn't have an issue |

Aah ok that's reassuring then. It's a hassle when u get a text saying "I need a card. Can't get up" |

why not just book the room for 2 with your friends name on the reservation ...saves all the drama ...never had an issue with any hotel personally ...the staff never seem remotely interested in who is in which room unless you are being a nuisance to other guests |
