Any fabbers recommend a camp site with good facilities - clean showers especially.

Suitable for families please

And preferably with some local sights to view.

Deepdale in Norfolk. Check their website. It's a great site and families only.

Some nice ones in Treadur Bay on Anglesey. Valley of the Rocks I think it's called. On Ravenspoint road. Really nice beach 5mins walk, and Anglesey always seems to get more sun than the mainland.

Is that the one with a shop, chippy, pool and adventure playground?

There is a good website called UK campsite. (Or something very similar), hundreds on that with honest reviews and they all have links attached to the individual campsites own websites. I've found it invaluable.

I couldn't believe how good that place was. Absolutely huge. But not overcrowded. Might try it again if we decide to go under canvas again.

Wasdale head in the lakes, wake up to the site of Scafell Pike, Englands highest mountain, the wasdale head inn is a short walk away, does some nice grub, short drive from quite a few places of interest.

We're in a section for 10 units & it's only half full but tomorrow is the start of the school holidays for most. Our kids (6-13) loved the magician last night

Sorry, yes the NT one, the other one is just a field, lol, I think it has changed a lot, depends on how much you expect. The surrounding arena of mountains is very impressive.
