I think we can all act the twat on the rd when we meet a twat. What you drive bears no meaning but i like to think and more so because i ride a bike I'm a little more forward thinking on the rd as my life depends on it |

I don't think "we" do... There are just as many dickheads driving cars, if not more. I've been driving a "white van" for 9 years and apart from reversing into a lamp post I'm accident free. It's a bit stereotypical to say we're all bad drivers. |

Insurance companies compile lists etc of vehicle types and accident stats etc. Recently they published a report on accidents to the public. It was found the white van man was infact the safest driver on the road. That they had least accidents of anyone else and made less claims.
Van drivers are professional drivers often doing crazy miles each year just like lorry drivers who incidently are the second safest drivers in the roads.
That's why I get my insurance for my van for 200 quid a year fully comp and you car drivers pay more.
I think the idea is because van drivers are intolerant of eejits on the road and are vocal at showing there disapproval. Cause they are doing it as a job they are impatient with they drivers that love driving 35 in a 60 and tourists etc. Thus the reputation of being bad drivers.
There are far to many slow lingering eejits on our roads with no concern their driving is holding everyone up and they are going silly slow. They are soo annoying. I believe many are just to frightened to be on our roads |

van drivers are no worse than any other tbh, there's always the odd exception. I do find when driving a van folk are more inclined to give way so the rep can help a bit
Tend to find mini-cabs with no POB tend to be worse, racing to get somewhere, courier bike/motorbikes same. |

But what happened in the accident was you vehicle stationary and van hit it, has the van gone into the back of your car, just curious |
