Slowly and with a light hearted approach,
do a bit of googling, see what you both like, you will have an idea of what you want to do
Write things down though, if you're mid session and draw a blank on ideas having some jotted down to refer to can help keep things moving,
But slowly especially with punishment go easy find and stay within limits, plenty of time to push them,

I'd start with just discussing fantasies then maybe introduce things like restraints .. Silk scarves soft materials and blindfolds. Nothing too scary. Keep it sensual and fun then you can step things up from there.

Start with silk scarfs, hand cuffs, (POUNDLAND, they come off easily) blindfolds and sensation play, tickle, nibble, spank, see what gets you going, see what you both like and don't like, you can move forward from there, but the most important piece of advice I can give you, and it's the most important so take note, communication is the most important thing to get right, have a safe word right from the start, even if it's just a little light bondage, oh and safety scissors, very important, trust me lol
