As QOT said - water and banana.
Hangovers are caused by two things: mild dehydration and potassium deficiency. Water sorts the dehydration and a banana sorts the potassium. |

A hangover has a lot to do with dehydration, which is why your best bet is to drink plenty of water.
Alcohol dehydrate the body.
In fact, if you'd prefer to avoid getting a hangover in the first place, you're much better off balancing your drinking with plenty of water. |

Sorry this will not help with an existing hangover, but to try to avoid the next try taking two asprin and drinking at least 1 litre of water before going to bed. It helps keep the gray matter hydrated. |

"Take notice of this! You need 2 slices of toast, jack Daniels bbq sauce, couple of dollops of coleslaw and cheese, walk under grill. "
Is all the food a smokescreen? Surely when he walks under the grill, the burns to his scalp will mean the hangover will be a mere shadowy memory in a day filled with pain? |

I was thinking the grilling would be a distraction from the hangover, and the food an inconvenience. |

Plenty of water and bacon always works for me after a good night out. Also drinking a Friij milkshake or a Mars milk before I go out seems to prevent gippy tummy the day after too. |
