I live on the edge of the Peak District National Park, but spent a lot of time with my Dad in the lakes when growing up, so I think the Lakes is my favourite national park, it's stunning and hold lovely memories for me. How about you? |

"Went to Painshill Park in Surrey not so long ago.. was very beautiful and quiet there."
It's not a National Park, but quiet is a good reason to go, we're bombarded with noise all the time, just to sit and feel that bliss. |
