I have no idea who you're talking about, but I'm sure they will be back particularly if a Forum regular who left suddenly. Some are serial leavers / rejoiners.

If not then as others have said, they come and go on here so I'm sure they've left for their own reasons so I wish them all the best

That doesn't add up. Every time one of those 'people you miss on the forums' threads polls up it'd allowed to run and the mods don't smack everyone who name profiles with the ban hammer.

I am lost as to the secrecy. If her identity has been compromised by someone she trusted, shame on them. They are risks we all take with our identities, more so I guess if playing away.

It's a shame for all parties in any relationship and a reminder that the more we attract attention, it can be the wrong attention

And to be on here playing away I'd imagine you would be even more wary of who you trust.

Why you can't name someone whose left? Don't know. But I personally don't want a forum ban, so I'm not risking it. Others may feel the same.

As for the identity compromise, thankfully the information in question was only given to one person, so the person who left knows the party behind this. So it's been reported and being looked at.

A couple of people have offered help in various ways. This is appreciated, but this is being handled in the proper way.

And to be on here playing away I'd imagine you would be even more wary of who you trust.

Why you can't name someone whose left? Don't know. But I personally don't want a forum ban, so I'm not risking it. Others may feel the same.

As for the identity compromise, thankfully the information in question was only given to one person, so the person who left knows the party behind this. So it's been reported and being looked at.

I'm still non the wiser who it is, why they left etc.

I must be a hard cow, whilst I enjoy input on the forums with certain individuals and wouldn't wish anyone any harm or indeed get involved in gossip or nastiness, once people have left then I don't really think about them. I certainly wouldn't start threads about them. I can't see the point of it if the person has left and won't see any 'i miss you so much' kind of threads.

Being a real cynic I think the guys who do this are just hoping for a shag if the person comes back.
