Film scenes so horrible you can't watch

Was thinking about one of my favourites movies last night. Casino. At the end there is a scene so horrible to watch it just makes me look away. If anyone has seen the movie they will know the scene I mean. No matter how many times I've seen the movie that scene just scares and frightens the he'll outta me.

For me, it's not so much it's graphic it's that it's a psychological film and so it's scary in a different way. So I've only watched the film se7en once and although One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest is a great film - I seldom want to watch it.

I get more upset about the start of Finding Nemo than any torture porn, slasher, graphic psychological, supernatural horror film.

The rape scene was pretty horrendous but apart from that it's quite mild by today's standards. Funny SK banned it before it was officially banned.

"The first hostel film when they slash his Achilles tendons while he's sat down then he gets up and tried to walk away.. CRINGE!!!"

I actually thought one of the worst scenes in that film was when the first Japanese girl gets her toes chomped off by the bolt cutters, something about the fact her obviously terrified screams and pleas where in a language I don't speak - yet were perfectly understandable - I found chilling. I suppose that's called empathy though.

A scene I can't watch is in 28 weeks later when Robert Carlisle is reunited with his wife, what follows after is nightmarishly tragic.

I saw Jaws shortly after it was released.

As a surfer since a little kid, and always in the water, I swore then never to watch it again...lol.

When you're sat out on your board waiting for a swell, wearing a shortie wetsuit, and a plastic bag or something similar under the surface hits your legs...it always makes you think...lol.

Worst I've had are jellyfish stings and Weaver fish stings...and I hope it stays that way.

Actually. Made up film's with the intention of shocking don't really bother me as it's just pretend.

However anything that is actually based on true event's or when they include rape scenes in film's under the banner of "entertainment "I find pretty revolting.

Torture, genocide, children, racism etc..

Not on can't watch it.

The scene in amistad, when they dumped all of the slaves chained together sticks in my head head to this day as a shocking a thing that I have seen.

A film that had a huge effect on me was the killing fields. When he fell into the mass grave, was indeed one of these powerfull moments.

The inhumanity of man against his fellow man for a fucked up ideology or religion or anything is profoundly shocking to the very core, as someone said it's the real stuff that really gets to you.

Pol pot was a fucking sick individual and he was allowed to live a full and free life disgusting.

Agree....that scene made me sick.

Also, im not big fan of rape scenes-male or female. Its not a movie so apologise for going off track here but i read in the guardian newspaper a few weeks ago that male rape is also being used as a weapon in Congo.

The guardian detailed accounts of survivors...one man recalled his ordeal-a 'slave' for 4 years. He was raped 3 times a day, every day! Poor man uses a tampon to stop the bleeding.

I was reading the paper while eating my lunch...i could not finish my lunch as i was physically sick!

You're not missing much, the JK guests are still microbes that have somehow learned a guttural grasp of the English language, and Jeremy himself still looks down upon them like a vulture, ready to tear it's beak through the glistening rot before him and draw forth the foul sustenance that perpetuates his wretched existence.

"Earthlings a documentary about man's inhumanity to animals..... Haven't watched it won't watch it after I was shown a dog being skinned alive and hung up in some Asian country....it was still alive and blinking after they had done all that to him I wept for hours.... "

Of all the films out there, the ones I can't repeat have genuine animal slaughter in them. El Toppo, apocalypse now.

Horror as a genre is brilliant. Actually using footage of genuine suffering and killing sends me over the edge into hell.

Nothing from the horror genre at all, usually find those funny but small things like the fingers chopped off in Alcatraz and teeth drilling and pulling in Marathon Man as have felt both those pains to a lesser extent so can actually relate to

The bit in Platoon when they start on the disabled lad in the village, and one of them starts smashing his skull with his rifle butt.

The film i cant watch again is The Champ. Nothing like blood and guts in it. Just the final scene. Cant do it. Especially as i have kids Now, just end up crying like a big Jessie.

The movie "Kids" about teenagers in New York with HIV is pretty hard to watch, I couldn't watch all the way through the first time I tried.

The scene in Jack Reacher where they tell the guy that they will kill him if he doesn't bite his own fingers off.

Lots of Monster with Charlie Theron, like when she gets raped by a lead pipe.

"Some scenes in the Saw Films "

The second film for me when she's thrown into the pit of needles, cringing just thinking of it

There's an episode in Breaking Bad similar that threw my mind straight back to Kids as I was watching it...

That but in twilight where ... It's on.

I had an ex girlfriend who made me watch them several times at the cinema together.

That's not why she's my ex but it's close.
