A Galaxy Far, Far Away & Spain

As a continuation of my CHILLOUT Playlists add your favourite Cover or Sampled version of a song. I'll add it to my Playlist for my holiday coming up & raise a glass to you all as I soak up the sun.

Here's a few to give you an idea.

"Cello Song" - The Books (Mighty Mouse remix)

"Make Luv" - Room 5 (feat Oliver Cheatham)

"Scream For Pleasure" - Croatia Squad

"Uninvited" - Freemasons

"Heartbeats" - The Knife (Rex The Dog mix)

Peace out & party folks.

Tricky's cover of Public Enemy's Black Steel (in the Hour of Chaos).

Nouvelle Vague's cover of Making Plans for Nigel by XTC.

The Stave's cover of Whole of the Moon by The Waterboys.

Tori Amos's cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana.

Aretha Franklin's cover of The Weight by The Band.

Love this cover of Bowie's "Sound & Vision".

(The little bit where it goes, "Ahh-haa" reminds me of Diamondjoe's 'tasche. Lol.)

London

I love Linnzi Zaorski's covers of swing and jazz songs. Her voice is just perfect for them.

The Source and Candi Staton, You got the Love, uses samples of Frankie Knuckles, Your Love.

Both absolute gems!

The Sophie Ellis-Bextor version isn't bad & her voice suits the track.
