The end of the world is nigh. When will people stop buying The Sun and The Mail?

Apparently being taught by her uncle, who was pals with Hitler. Hardly news is it.

think I heard on the news that it was 6 months into Hitlers regime, none of the horrors had even been considered possible...

just a funny looking man saluting and they were copying him.

just a stupid story

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It's not as if it's unknown that her uncle had Nazi sympathies, certainly before the war. A six year old who adored her uncle copying what he did at that point in time when people did not believe that the Nazi's were anything other than a run of the mill political party in charge of a country.

I'm more interested in how the Sun got hold of the footage.

Did you see the editor of The Sun trying to justify the story on the BBC news this morning?

The guy is laughable. Personally I think he should be charged with treason and thrown in the tower!

London

When I heard about the story last night my first reaction was

Yes! There're all Nazis, just look at prince Harry with his Nazi uniform /costume.

Now with my hangover to take care of this morning, I remember walking around doing a Nazi salute, with my finger across my top lip, doing high kicks.

Aged six, in the school playground.

Thank gaud I'm not famous,

They would of had a field day with this black nazi

Shame on them

I often wonder if the news people just make shit up for a laugh. Put a slant on it and the General Public go mad for it.

In general the media in this country has in recent years fell well below an acceptable standard but there are thankfully a few exceptions.

Its a bit of a sad day when circa 4 million people will read the Sun newspaper and 3 million with watch some dreadful TV programme about the dole.

Don't worry - it doesn't matter how many people read it in the Sun, because average Sun readers don't have enough attention span to remember what they read two days ago.....

I thought it was a very interesting historical article, although I only read the main bits in the queue at tesco.

I didn't find it that shocking as there's been a long long list of British heigerachy that thought Adolf Hitler was the greatest thing since sliced bread!, including 90 odd percent of Austrian citizens despite the warnings from other people of influence since Hitler's election in 1930.

I think the video evidence of the royals right wing leanings is evidence enough even for the most hardened disbelieves!

Although to be honest, anyone who's ever read anything about Germany during the 30s saw exactly what most "important" people thought about Hitler and the Nazi party....

They fucking loved them!
