One of my main reasons for losing weight is because i don't have good looks so i can't do anything about that but i can at least try and make my body half decent. ...but if that puts people off I've got no hope! ! |

Well I only have about 2 Fabs for my face pics but then again they're in Friends only and I only have a very, very few friends!
But when I send a face pic on Face Pic Friday the best I usually get is 'thanks' which kinda of says it all really! Still, at least my Mum loves me ...  |

I'm big enough and ugly enough to know my limitations and know I'll never be winning any beauty contests.
But then beauty is in the eye of the beholder. There are some that I think are stunning and they genuinely don't realise how great they look, others I see describing themselves as attractive and I'm thinking 'really!?, are you having a laugh?!'

Not being a fab desirable and not having your face picture fabbed doesn't mean you aren't beautiful. You know that motives on here are skewed toward the getting of sexual favours not applauding beauty.
We don't get 100s of messages and we don't ever put our faces in public so they never get fabbed but we don't use either of these things as a measure of our attractiveness. Some people do and we have all seen the results of that |

I don't think it's generally claimed that face pics get more fabs, it's that face AND body (naked) together always seems the most popular combo.
Turn your argument around and it's a compliment: you have a great body, so why would your face pic get more fabs?

Not being a fab desirable and not having your face picture fabbed doesn't mean you aren't beautiful. You know that motives on here are skewed toward the getting of sexual favours not applauding beauty.

I don't get many messages. I don't get hundreds of fabs when I load a new picture but those aren't the criteria I use to decide whether I am pretty or beautiful or even atteactive.
As I mentioned, I have been blocked when I have sent my face picture. On the face picture swap threads I rarely get sent one back. Again, not the criteria I use.
At best I am pretty but it's a really lovely pretty when I look just right. To some I am beautiful, maybe not conventionally so but they find the whole package beautiful, which has a lot to do with my brain and personality for them.
I'm fairly certain your partner thinks you are more than just average.
I don't put my face pictures up in public but the comment I get most often is that they don't do me justice. Whether that's flattery or the truth is as subjective as what people find beautiful.
Take the compliments you are getting, get a big kiss from Clem and wake up feeling beautiful tomorrow.

We don't get 100s of messages and we don't ever put our faces in public so they never get fabbed but we don't use either of these things as a measure of our attractiveness. Some people do and we have all seen the results of that "

One of my face pics has over 1000 fabs, but yeah my most fabbed pic is several hundred more than that.
Didn't realise some of them had so many fabs coz they only seem to have a few fabs when i look at who fabbed them, glad i looked now. But it did used to be face pics that got the most fabs for me a few months ago and never looked anything like a model. |

I think it can be sometimes credited to what they've posted before, they get a bit of a fan base (for want of a better word) who fab away regardless. |

I think it's changed because when i was first on here i noticed hardly anyone female had face pics on, don't know why but whatever, so men probably were like phwoar a face pic, quick lets fab it...
Now i notice more women have their face on, men might be getting bored now of them? Veg seems to be the in thing maybe these days.
