I have to say it annoys me, but the ability to spell correctly or otherwise is not the person.
What really gets on my tits, and it comes mainly from sports commentators or 'personalities' is something like he was playing brilliant. Who the fuck is 'brilliant'
Grrrr
It is becoming mainstream this chav speak. There is an ad on telly now saying travel yourself interesting!!! |

I use an iPhone and whilst the spellings end up being correct the damn thing has Tourette's and changes word to something random and nothing like you were trying to type if you not paying attention when typing

We've noticed this happening also, "Go Argos" in their ads for example. |

Hate auto corrects! For someone that wasn't taught English until I was 7 years old and considering my first language is Welsh, I think I my spelling is pretty damn good! I also know the difference between to, too, their, there, they're and so on and so forth! |

My spelling in general is pretty good but my phone's dictionary, despite having been set as English UK a number of times, auto-corrects to US English a lot of the time. I do recorrect it a bit, but a lot of the time don't bother. So I must look pretty atrocious on here, when using that phone. |
