"I've just upgraded my phone so my battery is really good, used to have to charge my old phone 2 or 3 time a day "
In the 80's I used to have to take 2 spare batteries and that still would not last
Then the 3310 came and that lasted for days
Have to have car charger and home charger for iPhone I use it for work get a lot of calls |

A few years ago I was on a night out with friends, I got all mobile call, may dad had had a heart attack and died so I went home to be with my family.
Without a mobile phone I wouldn't have known till the morning or if I slept at a friends house even later, potentially days as you would have had to catch me when I was in and that was rare.
I don't live on my mobile phone, but they do have their uses. |

I remember the 5110 coming out followed by the 3210 and then the 3310, it's when mobiles really started to take off.
I had a Siemens one till I was 17 and call me a dinosaur but I don't think kids should have the modern phones they do.
A mobile for emergency calls and texting friends is quite sufficient. |

I had a nec 11a with etacs then Lord know how many till the 5110 then a 3310 till the 1110 which I got rid of when you got penalty points for using whilst driving
Can't beat a 1110 for texting and driving before the law changed would not dream of doing it now
Tried loads of different phones now have a iPhone which I do all my invoicing appointment etc on basically use as computer |

That's funny lol I was chatting to someone earlier about this and they said they had spare batteries for their phone years ago that they used to carry around with them. You can't get the bloody battery out of these modern phones good job they last a bit longer |

Not got my EE power bank yet, but will.
I turn off the most power intensive features, such as wifi, bluetooth, GPS and applications that eat it up. If I'm below 20% I'm more careful with how I use the phone.
Having a car and home charger helps, as it can mean neither is too far away. |

I normally charge my phone at least once during the night due to high usage. Doesn't really dip below 50% during the day. Had to use an old LG Mobile recently when mine went in for repair and I charged it on a Tuesday and by the Sunday it had only dropped 1 bar out of 4 of battery power due to it being an old phone with no apps or games on it. |
