Are there any films that you feel were improved upon by a remake, I can't think of one. One of my favourite films is ' The Thirty Nine Steps', the original Hitchcock version from 1939, with Robert Donat, I've seen several remakes, but none ever come close to the original. |

There was a rumour that Speilberg would be remaking 'The Dambusters' - which would be cool. Did you know if you google Star Wars and Dambusters, the canyon and dam attack are almost interchangeable from the speec and music point of view? |

I didn't know that. I've gone off Spielberg lately, his films lack the quality of his older ones. I feel it will be concentrating on CGI effects of the Bombers rather than the story. |
