I just realised that my alma mater has a picture of me which has been used on a social network to which I subscribe and to which I posted the picture.
Does this mean I get to use meamingless phrases such as "including but not limited to", "subject to legal ramifications" and "I hereby"?
Or is the posting of information on a public website and then writing hilarious pseudo legalese cap to try and make people think you have control over that information an exercise in ignorance and futility? |

Write to them and request they remove it.
As a rule, if you don't want an image copied and used elsewhere, it's best to watermark a copyright onto it. If it's then used by anyone in the UK for commercial gain or business related purposes without your consent, you can refer them to the IPO. |
