70's if you are old enough that is (was a child) or what you don't miss?

I don't miss wally collers & bell bottoms but do miss the good tv programs then.

Actually being excited about a TV show and waiting for it to come on. I was a huge fan of the Professionals, Dukes of Hazzard, fall guy and laterally Spitting Image. Would keep conversation at school going for the week.

don't forget Camberwick Green and Chigley.

I also have a soft spot for loads of other kids TV created or broadcast in the 70's/early 80's - Ivor the Engine, Mr Benn, Bagpuss, Paddington Bear narrated by Michael Horden etc

Another good thing about the 70's was that people walked on the moon.

The threat of nuclear apocalypse was less good... But I was only old enough to worry about that in the 80's.

The green or pink football papers you could get on Saturday tea time almost straight after the match, and standing on the terraces.
