Is back, but as a smartphone, The Commodore PET is a mid range phone launching in Italy, France, Germany and Poland layer in the month, for about $300.

It's got the C= logo on the back

Question is, would you buy it? Just to say you own a Commodore and other nostalgic reasons.

Not unless it's a decent phone and brings something new to the table.

I had a spectrum zx

My soon wad complaining about the load time of his ps3... so i made him sit through a spectrum game loading on youtube; then stopped it 90% in a started it again to give him the proper experience minus rewinding the tape lol.

Never complained again after that

Genius!

I had a C64 and wasted hours loading & re-loading tapes, not to mention re-tuning the tape deck at least once every couple of months.

My day job brings me into contact with loads of 18-25 year olds and they never believe me in conversations about computer games.

48k with rubber keys was a nightmare

128k with R-Type was the way forward

I'd be surprised if it still works. Try it out!

Didn't they bring out a new C64 recently? Don't think that went well and I don't really see how they will bring anything new to the table. Just tugging on the heart strings of the "oldies"

Lol if you got a good few hours for loading time and are free from syntax errors.

Just had a view yep decent spec for a debut phone but you could get decent emulators for android devices as for the rest don't think the major brands have anything to worry about, who knows maybe a company for the future, can remember Apple Makintosh back in the days lol

I have a C64 somewhere... not the sort of thing that makes me want to get a new piece of kit made by them!
