Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
"It's always down! When I go to my dads I go down to Southend yet when he come to me he's come down to mine lol I but it should be down south up north"
It would be down to Southend but not to London.

Probably, on the basis that they don't have anywhere else to go. |

North and south has no correlation to up or down
Some Australian maps have south at the top illustrating the arbitrary assignment to any direction upon earth's surface as being up or down
As for London if you wish to lower your air quality xxx |

"is it up or down"
Depends how you wish to travel.
If by road it is down to London, if by rail it is up to London (the routes to london by rail are always on the up line, the downline leads away from London no matter if one is travelling North, South, East or West).

The planet Earth hangs in space.
No one knows which way is up and which way is down.
Westerners made the maps so you go down to London.
If Aborigines ruled you'd be going up to London and Australia would be at the top.
The End. |

So, what about equatorial countries? Could Africa be above or below Brazil?

Depends where your going south. If your heading to London, it's "Darn Saarth" ( in a poor cockney accent) if it's anywhere else down south it's down south. Anywhere north of manchester is "up North"
It really is just geographically. Up to if u have to travel north, or down to if you travel south (from anywhere) |

Depends on the point of reference. if in Space the Equator is at the top then the top most point would change as the planet revolves.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack! |
"is it up or down
Down in terms of Geography
Up in terms of football prowess (c'mon the blues)
Down in terms of affordability.
Up in terms of culture and the arts.
Hope that helps
Mr ddc"
Up if you`re travelling by train! All main lines travelling to the capital are "Up" and those going back are "Down" |
