Today blowing up babies for training exercises. Story of a girl that escaped telling her story of being raped while hearing her sister being raped next door and a 10 year old being raped that hung herself after.
Killing anyone that wont accept there way of life. Treating woman like sex slaves and the spoils of war.
I honestly can't take it anymore. It's way beyond something needing done about it. |

Actual fact, hard news, social media or indeed ISIS propaganda?
Do you know which?"
I don't believe we do know the truth of the matter, no. I'm as sure as I can be that the young women I just watched telling their harrowing stories were telling the truth although God knows why they're parading them round schools and for the media then returning them to their refugee camp in Iraq. |

terrorists have always existed and nobody has ever come up with an answer.
I do shudder though at the easy way that violence is suggested for seemingly small transgressions even in the forums and wonder why anyone feels surprised when its magnified exponentially for perceived larger wrongs. |

Wish i'd bookmarked it now but the BBC did a similar one interviewing an MI5/6 double agent of Muslim faith, who for a number of years was very close in the inner sanctum and a close advisor to Obama Bin Laden.
At first, he admits, he was fully into their ideals and actions, but gradually came to question how their atrocities reconciled with their beliefs. Hence, he turned and became a superspy. IIRC also, he claimed, the reason why they found OBL.
He clearly stated that their idealogy, ie to kill all infidels, stemmed from a C13 seige of a single garrison, somewhere in deep Asia, where some 50 muslims were killed by the invaders. The rest is history.

Not saying any one actual person involved is telling less than the truth, but by the same token ISIS see these actions as their calling and recruitment card, which it has to be said is working very successfully. Hence it could be all of true, factual and deliberately released as propaganda. |

yep, the religion in no way guides nor condones what they are doing, it's pure manipulation of the gullible by a minority in their quest for supremacy, using the religious ideology as a vehicle to suck them in |

Well they've been decapitating Christian babies and children out there for months so blowing up a baby wouldn't surprise me. Wasn't it a training exercise meant to dehumanise new Isis recruits out there?
Something major needs to be done but we don't need to know about it, it doesn't need to be discussed in the news or in the media at all because those fuckers can access that information just as easily as we can. They just need to do it, whatever their plan is, sending troops on the ground more air strikes or whatever but just get it done but not tell anybody that it's gonna happen, we'll just know when it's been done. |

unless you can eliminate all followers and the material out on the interweb etc, plus the same for any preacher that would pick up where they left off, anything isn't likely to achieve much. How many are waiting in the wings, morality preventing them from taking that extra step, but would be enraged and become the next rank...? Lots, unfortunately |

no, he starts by saying "actual fact" like there is regular false rumors of is atrocities. he then goes on to suggest that It could well be the truth in a tone that suggest these incidents arent documented daily. |

I suggest we get off the main driver of all this conflict.
Oil. There are alternatives
Then try getting off the next big driver.
Religion, remove it from the state and state sponsorship!
Then take all that foreign aid and give it to one un body that uses it correctly in foreign infrastructure and education!
Then stop bombing people with drones from 10,000 feet, put a proper un fighting force on the ground and expect losses but importantly justifiable losses.
Stop this multi culturalism bullshit, there's some very nasty shit getting peddled in the name of being nice!!... I don't care if your black white Pakistani or Hindu, but some of your cultural things need kicking into touch!
And most importantly stop this pandering to Saudi fucking oligarchy that pushes this insidious bullshit jihad just so we can sell them some shit |

Well the g20 nations do have several hundred thousands tons of chemical weapons they're obligated to dispose of over the next few decades.
And there's always the next downsizing of the US and Russian nuclear arsenals.

Fear and terror is the preferred method of the minority army. it's not really worked well since Genghis Kahn, however as a stage one tactic it is unfortunately very effective at keeping potential outside help outside. |

This ISIS malarkey seems to be instilling much fear and hatred in the masses. Whatever we are told via the news channels is calculated and we'll never really know what's true and what isn't.
Since living in Africa for a year a few years ago (if I'd believed news stories about certain parts I would never have gone!) I'm never again wasting my time worrying about what they put out in the news channels for us to consume and debate, like this. I no longer read any papers or watch news channels. Not worth worrying about something out of our control. Life is sweet!
Propaganda bollocks. |

But most of this stuff is actually recorded you can go and watch nearly everything you'd read about or heard on the news in all its gory details on the likes of liveleak.
Heck isis even make some fairly professional videos of their own
There's that insurgency groups in mousul that's fighting isis they have a lot of videos too of them ambushing isis members/patrols etc a lot of the time working as infiltrators.
When you see some of the stuff they do and the risk of getting caught they have the biggest bollocks on the planet

Its there power and there weakness, its made them and it will consume them.
But to the locals in Syria the Assad regime is pretty shitty too, and the other factions are weaker and smaller.
There is basis for most of what they do in some religious texts :/, but that's the same with other faiths. |

"Just watch them closely bout 3/4 times "
You saying the videos aren't real? That's a bit insulting to the victims families.
I've watched loads of videos, I hate it cos I think pieces of my soul are taken when I watch them, I've got a macabre and morbid curiosity.
A recent one where they had 4 or 5 guys in a cage and lifted the cage with a crane and submerged it under water with under water cameras, you could see them drown then the cage was resurfaced and you could see all the foam and sick coming out of their noses and mouth. You can't fake that sort of stuff. |

It is exactly the same as Nazis in 1930's. It took nearly 10 years for the world to wake up and do something. Wonder how long it will take this time.? |

This has been going on for over a thousand years, think back to the crusades. Of course at that time it was all ' over there ' and news media was different. There are suggestions that George saying the dragon is an allegory for a crusade, with the dragon representing Islam. We have to take long term solutions forward, balance the difference between IS and Islam, understand attitudes on both sides and still decide how to fight and survive.
Apologies for the long sentence.
At least that's my opinion. |

well that's just the typically naive western policy model, esp from the yanks. They'll side with the ones who stand against a regime they'd like to see ejected but not think any further than that objective.
Tribal areas such as the middle east have never worked with a standard democratic political model, tends to need a strong leader to hold the country together, that's typically gonna be a dictator |

I do understand people's frustrations, these actions are abhorrent and of course hugely sad. I always get curious why people don't care much for what's not in the news, there's thousands dying away from ISIS, and plenty of things on our doorstep that's sad or human inflicted.
ISIS are definitely a genuine danger, there time of favour will dissipate I think though. |

problem is that while their time may pass, the onward march won't. Sharia is already being practised here in some areas, why are we allowing this, do we not already have laws? Its not that I'm intolerant in outlook, but the old adage applies, when in Rome... This isn't an islamic nation and the bleeding heart liberals have made things bend too far over the past decades, IMHO |

But that's the thing, the west haven't learned. They will still interfere if they think they can gain some sort of advantage from it, oil in that region. The constant destabilisation in the region has come entirely from western governments, formerly the old guard (UK, France etc) and more lately the immature young kid (US) |

"I do understand people's frustrations, these actions are abhorrent and of course hugely sad.
Sharia is already being practised here in some areas"

"Isis plans to get into Italy and then Spain their beliefs are this will lead to a final showdown with the west when their god will ressurect and Muslims will rule the earth bunch of nutters religion and money are the two biggest evils.when the war first started in Syria what did Obama call Isis then freedom fighters was the term he used now they are the biggest threat to our way of life since the nazis
well that's just the typically naive western policy model, esp from the yanks. They'll side with the ones who stand against a regime they'd like to see ejected but not think any further than that objective.
Tribal areas such as the middle east have never worked with a standard democratic political model, tends to need a strong leader to hold the country together, that's typically gonna be a dictatorwhich is why I think the west learned its lesson by removing Hussain and Gadaffi Libya and Iraq fell apart Syria they stayed away from apart from arming and training isis
But that's the thing, the west haven't learned. They will still interfere if they think they can gain some sort of advantage from it, oil in that region. The constant destabilisation in the region has come entirely from western governments, formerly the old guard (UK, France etc) and more lately the immature young kid (US)" |

"If the politicians actually got off their arses instead of sitting in their massive houses supping pimms they might see the difference on the streets"
There's also the issue of military advisors who in some countries will almost always was to go in, the yanks love to show off their whizzy toys that go bang.
I was astounded a few nights back when some UK bod was talking about precision bombing, how it is so accurate etc. I doubt the families of those killed and injured as collateral damage would agree. |

You're just throwing words out now 'virtually every Asian community'? Sure, Coventry has a huge Asian community, to the point where in some areas it's like someone has taken a chunk out of another country altogether and plonked it in the city, you can't hear a single word of English being spoken in the streets, yet if any of these people were to break the law, British law, then they would be tried and convicted by the laws of the land, and rightfully so.
If there ever was a genuine threat of the evil, archaic practice of Sharia law being officially implemented in this, my country, my home, then I would join with whichever groups were ready and willing to fight back and resist it readily, but until then, I refuse to be drawn into a racist witch hunt. |

Then the issue is with the authorities such as the police and the government not doing their jobs properly, not with the Asian community as a whole. |

On this morning they were discussing plans that the SAS are going there. Why do we need to know this, we don't, just do it. It's the same both sides, if they post a video it needs to be removed and not shown or reported. They've done enough to show is that they are evil and bombing them or destroying them in whatever way is justified. Just don't tell us or report about the military action they're going to take, just do it and we'll know about if later. Why pre warn them what our plan of attack is. |

If you look at afganistan and Iraq, we aren't prepared to out last them, and those that live there cant trust us, we abandoned our translators in Afghanistan, ruined Iraq, and wont do much to help Syrians. But we support the oppresive Bahrain and Saudi governments. Alot of issues stem from our map drawing many years ago too.. |

I don't believe they'd be that silly, despite the almost constant incompetence of the past.
They'll only let us know what they don't mind IS knowing!

Fighting a war against an ideology is just not going to work.
The only way to defeat the threat from radicalists is to render them impotent through the media.
At one time, the greatest scientists and minds in the world were Islamic scholars. Unfortunately, as the world and science has evolved it has evolved to an extent that Islamic scholars have reached a point where they can no longer ask questions because the questions undermine the religion.
A very clever media campaign needs to be brought into play that completely ridicules the fundamental beliefs of the radicals and thus makes their ideology laughable to their peers as opposed to how it is at the moment with young Muslims looking for an identity. |

"Today blowing up babies for training exercises. Story of a girl that escaped telling her story of being raped while hearing her sister being raped next door and a 10 year old being raped that hung herself after.
Killing anyone that wont accept there way of life. Treating woman like sex slaves and the spoils of war.
I honestly can't take it anymore. It's way beyond something needing done about it.
what do you suggest?
You know...something! "

I hadn't noticed that this thread was a day old.
As the O.P. dropped it and left it and no one has sourced it, I'm viewing it as a piece of propaganda in itself.
I'll go as far as to say it's hate inducing.
If there is any REAL evidence I'll retract. Until then I can't find any.

It is laughable to us because our belief in science outweighs our belief in religion. The Radicals know how to use media as a way to inspire their followers and we have not yet sussed out a way to present a campaign on the worlds media that makes those beliefs as ridiculous to them, as they are to us.
A form of media that presents the true facts about what happens when a person detonates themself across forty grid references. That person will be food for forty goats as opposed to be meeting forty virgins and getting a pat on the back from God. |

The video is online of the baby thing along with what they've been doing for months and months, decapitating Christian babies and children and putting their heads on poles. They say it's because they're Christian but whatever the reasons there are pictures and videos showing that. |

They published their Mohammed covered issue less than 2 weeks after the murder of their staff. The issue sold out in record time, people were queuing around the block to purchase it.
