The land of grey peas and bacon

Today? For me it has been seeing the most amazing people in my life, my parents who seem to have a knack of lifting me up when I'm pretty much on the ground (that's another story) Also I have bought myself a red fridge freezer

I am totally crap at sewing and yet managed with much swearing to fix the zip on a dress. The soppy factor to this is that it's the dress I had on nearly a year ago when something special happened and I want to wear it on the anniversary.

The limoncello I just cracked out from the freezer and d*unk.

A month brewing into lemon vodka then bottling it with sugar... well worth it.

On the posh bedding note...I saw some agent provocateur bedding in a box (bedding in a box and with ribbon!) tk maxx, not sure if I've seen them there since

Mine was being the hired help at a party/BBQ and popping up a gazebo that stayed up in the wind.

due to the cost of silk I imported mine from america much cheaper 125.00 instead of over 300.00 for the full set including valance sheet, pillow cases and duvet cover

if I remember correctly 2 tone purple was the colour I picked to buy

Sheffield

Was at an ancient and historic site yesterday and all of a sudden one of the munchkins pipes up with "look at that bull's balls! They're HUUUUUGE!"

Which then lead to a discussion about why only two of the creatures in the field had testicle, knicker-wetting hilarity at a grown up using the word penis (what's that thing that looks like a spring onion?) and an explanation of why those other ones aren't cows but bullocks and no bullocks isn't a rude word!

After a lengthy Q&A session I had to go sit on the aforementioned ancient and historic monument for a thorough chortle
