I have a building rubble strewn overgrown excuse for a garden that needs landscaping but have no funds to pay someone to do it. I also have no actual hard landscaping or gardening ability other than being able to plan it all in 3D. |

Anybody else got any DIY that needs sorting?
We're all here to help.......

I have a DIY problem.
My wardrobe has sliding doors. One of my converse laces went rogue and has tangled up in the sliding mechanism. I don't want to cut the lace and the door still works, albeit with a lace hanging from it in an unsightly manner.
I've yanked and I've tugged and I've tried to untangle. It ain't happening.
How do I solve this shoelace situation? |

"My cock isn't long enough for me to give myself a blow-job. Does that count as a diy problem?
Mr ddc
Sorry, clearly I meant my back isn't flexible enough to.....
(Phew, that was close)
"
Have it on good authority that if you have a couple of ribs removed you'll be as flexible as a snake

"What do I do with all my second hand bubble wrap ?
Keep hold of it, it may become a collector's item."
I've always thought bubble wrap must contain the air of the place it is made.
There are a few beautiful parts of the uk that really should have cashed in on "Welsh Mountain Air wrap" or Scottish Loch Bubble wrap"....
The trouble with that cheap stuff from China is that half an hour after popping some, you want to pop some more...

Organise a garden party
Just invite a load of friends round to clear it up and bribe then with beer and food |

"I can't believe no one is assisting with my shoelace problem. Perhaps I didn't convey how much it has been stressing me out for the past five months. "
I'd have to see for myself if I can untangle it |

if you dont want to cut it theres only one way lift the sliding door off bottom slide and then lift it in air and unclip it from the top slide if its that type then tip it slightly to clear the top bar
once done turn it onto its side where the shoelace is at top of the door now thread through until you clear the lace from the roller area
if want lace in one piece then use a small hook too catch it until you gently pull it loosely out from the roller
its not easy and 3ft sliding mirror doors are worse |

get a guy in, blindfold him and lead him to the wheel the lace is stuck in, then take his hand and guide it gently over your breast and down to the wheel and tell him your nipple needs playing with. After he's spent a while tuning the radio the lace may be free |

"I need a tap outdoors but assume I'd need a massive drill to get through the walls and plumbing is hard? Pretty bad at DIY, and plants are thirsty. "
You need my favourite new toy, an SDS drill and chisel bits or a corer. Great fun |

Thanks, though it sounds a bit alien to me. Are walls a foot thick, or so?
Should I get a handyperson to do it? Cheaper than buying the stuff? |
