Yup I love UFC im friends with a british fighter who's well known and have been lucky enough to meet a few big name fighters, i love their commitment to the sport their pre fight trainig regimes are mental!

Also love when a fighter gets someone locked on the floor and its ground & pound time.. Have a weird thing for blood sports

Have done bjj for years and love mma

Mcgregor answered a lot of questions in that fight

As much as I love watching robbie lawlor fight he's a guy that should have quit long ago, showing major signs of being punch d*unk IMO.

All round great card, thought the Lawler vs Mcdonald was the best match up followed by Mcgregor vs Mendes, Mcgregor certainly proved himself against a top notch wrestler, Aldo better watch out big time!

Gotta love shamrock. Took kimbo down easy just couldn't keep him there. Kimbo way too big. Shamrock has cajones. Metaphorically anyway. All that juice I'd say his testes are a distant memory

Loved UFC since it started, boxed since aged 8, martail arts later also and then got into military close quater combat and Krav while still boxing and doing mma, fight still aged 48 and teach self defence and close protection. Hope Aldo shuts McGobshite up.

He's definately got it coming to him.

As has that other little loudmouth CM Punk whenever he decides to actually fight.

I'm not sure who he'll fight though, ongoing twitter war with Cathal Pendred (being irish I could this fight being on the undercard to a MacGregor fight assuming he beats Aldo - talk of being in Ireland too maybe?)

There's a clip of punk being mouthy to a guy in audience at a recent q&a, with a no fight record he's pretty confident.

God yeah, Lesnar back in the UFC would be freaking awesome. Won't happen now that WWE resigned him though

lesnar was no stunt. He was a good fighter whose body couldn't cope with the strenuous training. By all accounts he was a sponge and he was part of a camp that don't do stunts.

No way should Punk fight Cathal. Pendred was a champion at a top European organisation and is far too experienced for Punk's first fight.

How good is DJ. No 125lb beats him ever

He was only in it to bring the wrestling fans in, hardly a time served established fighter...

There was cross marketing benefits yes, but he wrestled as an amateur and was highly touted.

He fought MMA prior to signing with the UFC and defeated 3 UFC champions in 7 fights. Hardly a gimmick fighter IMO.

Punk on the other hand had no MMA or amateur wrestling experience before signing with the UFC with the exception of some recreational BJJ

Have to agree with this. Lesnar is a specimen of a man - who despite starting out so late and being thrown straight into the deep end - did very well.

I feel that had he been allowed to develop his striking (offence and defence) by taking a slower route to the big title fights - he would have been a pretty rounded fighter and threat to anyone in any division.
