So much rain is forecast in the near future for areas of Britain that it is thought that water boarding will become commonplace in the country.
With the lead being taken by former President Bush in America, playful ducking of people in buckets of water is set to become the latest craze.
America's Tea Pot Brigade have endorsed the value of this extreme sport and, as we all know - what America does first, we are sure to do next!
The great appeal of the water boarding game is to catch the rain as it falls in a bucket and then to gently shove the face of a volunteer into the water. Anyone claiming benefits would still receive the benefit by volunteering for the scheme.
With a volunteer in place the fun begins. After a minute or so take the head of the person out of the bucket and demand that they tell you a joke. If the joke is funny enough you let the person return to work shy scrounging.
However if they are not in the mood to tell jokes, their head is immersed in the bucket of water again. It is surprising how many good jokes emerge for Spoof contributors from this hilarious escapade!
When I told George Bush about the British development of the water boarding scheme he suggested that we use baths rather than buckets for the game. 'In that way you can sex it up a bit' he explained. |

Well if it's anything like the hottest summer ever reports and warnings we get every other year then these flood warnings might mean we're due a drought |
