Really, REALLY not the right place to ask I know, but I'm in need of a new suit for upcoming weddings and inter_iews and I'm struggling to find anything.

Looked through all the usual suspects but can't seem to find anything I like. Anyone have any tips/ideas of where else to look?

Criteria:

Mid grey

Slim fit

3 piece

Nice weave (not flat but not t either, heritage kind of look)

£300 budget.

Already scoured Moss Bros but they didn't have anything that caught my eye. I haven't actually looked on Next yet though.

Cheers.

Get a loan and purchase an Oswald Boateng original. The job is yours as soon as you enter the door. Then you can pay off yer debt in style.

Hah, I'm kind of saving for a house/new car etc so I thinking blowing that much on a suit wouldn't be a great decision for me.

Definitely check Moss Bros - I bought my suit for the wedding online from them and it was half your budget.

Didn't know it at the time but it will come in handy for job inter_iews too!

I went to the OB shop. They offered the man I was with champagne and me squash.

Check Groupon and wowcha. They have been known to have massive discounts on suits that brings high end suits to your price range. Take a look can't hurt.

Plus try your local TK Maxx's suit section.

I've had some bargain Calvin Klein/Paul Costelloe/Ted Baker suits from there over the years.

It's pot luck but worth checking out.

If you are a standard fit, then look in eBay. I know it's easy to mock, but there are lots of very good quality, hardly worn and new clothes there for not much money.

French Connection have done some decent slim fit suits in previous years. And Next have upped their game with some of their slim fit stuff recently.

Debenhams used to have OB in their 'designers' range. Not sure if they still do but I bought one once for under £300.

The best mate is one of those blokes who likes shopping so I get dragged round all sorts. M&S have some nice three piece suits but I'm not sure about the slim fit. The Debenhams in Cabot has a fantastic range. It might be worth popping to one of those outlet malls though; one near me has at least four different suit shops.

Look at suitdirect on line. Discounted brands. If you know your size easy to buy online. Or go to a men's store and get properly measured.

Probably not a bad idea as there isn't a lot out here in the sticks. Just the though of coming home empty handed is a bit off putting (or absolutely skint) - I'm a right fussy bugger.

For the high street, Zara do a decent slim fit cut, and Next aregood to bear in mind.

Get a couple of decent ties too, I'd check charity shops for them. I got a bargain liberty print tie from one last time I was looking

No.

It's a white 3-peice weddding suit I had made in Hong Kong and then modified with the help of a tailor in London.

Great for parties, festivals and upstaging brides at weddings.

Considering the way I wear & trash it, it's looking remarkably spruce after 7 years...

Don't buy online. I did that with a TM Lewin suit and it never did feel right.

Baumler are great. Usually found in House of Fraser now or some independent stores. Classic styles that last for ages, well cut too and within your price if you catch a sale. TM Lewin might be an option too. If there is a Massimo Dutti store local to you, they have some very nice suits, may be just on your price range - just may be more on a fashion edge.
