"I'm a fan awesome! I think my fave band.. playing stay sick now
got any particular favourites?
I like Off The Bone in its entirety. " I wish I'd seen them, but missed opportunities and very sad I didn't. Great live. Long live Lux in my world. |

Mark Lamarr used to host a great rockabilly radio show and an even better 60's psychedelic one on Radio 2 a few years ago. Really opened my ears to music I would never have gotten to hear otherwise |

theres not much rockabilly or anything of a cramps nature on the radio.. not that they Cramps could ever really be pigeon holed they where very unique. Their music was a tribute to a specific genre mostly, influenced by their youth. Not suitable for radio so not much widespread exposure. Ivy was and still hopefully is an underrated artist; they are sometimes not taken too seriously, but thankfully are acknowledged by those who can appreciate their art for the brilliance they gave us.
I hope Ivy is planning to give us something since Lux died in '09 but I don't think they would ever have performed without each other, as that was what they were both about. |

"What's a good album to start off with the Cramps for a first timer? songs the lord taught us... and smell of a female for a live fix"
Cool I'll give that a shot, thanks. Not into live albums though. Every discography I've downloaded recently has way too many live tracks and albums most of which, we're recorded in the 80's with a terrible production. |

" they are80srecordings but to be fair I think personally that adds to what the cramps were about. Their studio work was great but they were very much a visual experience as well. Plenty of stuff on YouTube. |
