Just read a headline that Whatsapp mobile messaging application may be banned in the UK under investigatory powers bill.

The bill, nicknamed 'The snoopers charter', would prevent people from sending encrypted messages and could be in place by the Autumn.

What a waste of time for the government and security services. Any terrorist or criminal worth their salt will still be able to encrypt messages and send them.
