Earlier this week, we and another couple we've known for years, attended the festival of reprobates event in Old Street. The subject of pubic hair arose and when Mrs Cantilevered mentioned that she personally preferred a more natural look on other women, it was though she'd said she liked to drown kittens such was the sense of abhorrence around the table. Whilst she herself prefers to be neat as is the custom in her culture, she was surprised to discover that others were so turned off by full pubic hair. Is she so out on her own with this? |

Au contraire - I think there's something odd about women *without* public hair |

"I remove mine because of the silver streak right in the middle. I don't know what a guy's reaction would be! "
That sounds so lovely. I don't have much grey hair so it's unlikely to happen but a silver streak sounds gorgeous.

Lol. Maybe I'll let it grow back in and see what my FB thinks. |

Of course, people have any number of reasons, mine is a cultural tradition. I don't have a political perspective, I just find it very sexy on some people. I don't think its absence detracts from the beauty of those who remove theirs. |

I'm always surprised and a little saddened that people find things like pubic hair abhorrent and wonder if they really do or just say it to fit in with what they feel is popular opinion. |

"Public norms change like the wind. It's just amazing how Muppets view something different to what they do as if it's abhorrent.
Natural should be welcomed."
Public or pubic lol
Trends with downstairs have changed so often. Brazilian landing strip, triangle patches pointing the way, the complete bald look. It's how the individual likes to present themselves is what matters |
