Why? Sensationalist divisive unrepresentative unthinking rubbish. I hope I did not dilute my _iew of this sort of television. Have you any idea of the trouble this stirred up in Southampton? One poor (hard working) fellow had to be put up in a hotel for months to protect him. |

No, these shows are there to cause controversy, stir up resentment & prey on the unfortunates who can't see a better future for themselves. They're deluded to think being a reality star for a brief moment in time will somehow give them fulfillment they lack in real life. As someone who worked in television & still has friends in the industry I'm well aware that producers of these shows manipulate situations & if _iewers somehow think they are representative of "reality" then clearly they're as deluded as those participating.
If you want reality go help at a food bank, talk to a homeless person, volunteer at a shelter or help a charity - but for goodness sake switch off this fodder for the folk who want to be brain dead for an hour in the name of entertainment. |

Shags, stupidly, I watched a similar program the other night & the majority of the above posts are 100% correct.
All you ever hear is the people answering a question but never hear what the actual question was, - or any answers that don't suit the programs agenda, I'd guess. It's so thinly disguised, I'm surprised that people cant see through it all! |

I do not like IDS or The Fail but that is a conspiracy theory too far. Its a bloody television company jumping on the "Shaft the scroungers" bandwagon to make some money. Sheesh. Not every one in power is in cahoots with Area 51. |

. The poor are fairly well treated in the UK. Any money that they receive is from hard working tax payers . Society does not owe anyone a living . Everything that you.have in life has to be earned .   |

It's so imbalanced & in the particular similar program I watched they were targeting immigrants where English was their second language, - even easier to dupe!!
They more than likely have no idea about how the program will be titled, - they may even believe that it's a program about the celebration of immigration!!

. There are already heavy penalties for not paying Corporation Tax . You can hardly blame companies for organising their affairs in order to minimise their tax liability . What about all the staff that they employ and the jobs that they create . ? |
