Has anyone had embarrassing situations where they have had to admit to family that they Swing? Recently my daughter admitted to me that her boyfriend had suggested they visit a Swingers Club and that they had almost gone to Chameleons but she chickened out at the last minute.
Where were we the night they had nearly visited….Yes..at the aforementioned Club! Panic!!! I had to tell her….it was less frightening than the thought of her walking into the club another night and seeing her parents sitting there!! Her face was a picture!! .... LOL

All my family and friends know and when my daughter is at the right age i will also tell her.
Even my customers in the pub, if they ask me direct the i dont lie, i dont flaunt the fact we are swingers but i dont see the need to deny that we are.
As far as im concerned im doing nothing wrong, we have nothing to be ashamed of.

I did admit it once. During my best mates hen night
There was about 10 of us sat around a round table in a chinese restaurant. The topic of conversation was 'looking but not touching' when I chirped up "well, that depends". I only meant it as a cheeky laugh but the meek and timid brunette opposite me looked me straight in the eye and said "so you're a swinger?"...
I hesitated too much to deny it.
I'm kinda glad though as the topic then turned to bisexuality and I had a great night with the Hens Sister in Law  |

I have admitted to my best friend that I have attended a swinging club and told her all about it, but said that Chris and I only played with each other. That was the truth, well it was for the first 3 times we went anyway |

I used to be very secretive about the whole thing, but now if someone asks me s direct question I'll admit to it. I won't advertise it but I won't deny it either.
As far as I'm concerned what I do isn't wrong or illegal so I have nothing to be ashamed of.

our sex life is private and not for public consumption
we avoid people who are open about swinging and we only invite those back to our home if they are discreet
not ashamed but dont see the need to be a trail blazer either  |

As far as I know, everyone I know knows.
If they don't, it isn't because I've avoided telling them it's just 'cos I rather assume everyone knows already.
In the early days of 'coming out' it got me an astonishing number of dinner invites. |
