Wow.
So I started new antidepressants a week and a half ago and they seem to be taking some effect now.
I'm not having the most brilliant quality of life at the minute though I get by, and I'm scared of being stuck where I am forever. Normally that gets me down, today it's just inspired to do something and to make plans for adventures.
Obviously it's not all down to medication but it's a brilliant change and I feel awesome |

Thanks really great to hear / read.
The medication can make just enough of a difference to help your mental state and put you on a more positive and optimistic path.
Take it slow, be sensible, enjoy and embrace your positive changes.
Hopefully they allow you to move on being a brilliant happy you, that you feel happy and confident with.
Enjoy your plans and adventures. |

Probably not something you'd want to share publicly and I'm not trying to bypass filters, what triggered the depression?
Good to hear the new meds are helping though |

"What adventures have you thought of so far? It's brilliant to start feeling more positive, huge well done x"
Mainly more meets/socials, going to see a couple of fellow Fabsters slightly down South and soon, hopefully
Living life more, to sum it up. |

It's great that you're taking charge.
Regardless of black dog days, you have it within your gift to go forward.
Cliche; every journey starts with a small step.

Oh and you should try reading The Dalai Lama's book Ancient Wisdom, Modern World.
Years ago I was in a frustrated angry place and it gave me some clarity.
It's not about religion. I'd recommend it. |

I found mine took nearly a month to kick in & another before I noticed any difference. I had to switch to taking at bedtime too otherwise I felt sick all day.
I stupidly stopped taking them thinking I was ok & ended up back at square 1.
Good luck with them xx |
