10?
I always wonder why if they struggle with a needle in the arm they don't just knee people in the face and take it directly from the nose.
I never had any problems giving blood that way playing rugby!

"the answer was 10... 3 times in each arm... 2 in each knuckles...
so just to say my hands are painful to say the least..... "
Ouch! Hands are the worst! I'm used to being a pin cushion now from the multiple attempts it takes but it's still not pleasant. Hope they're less sore soon |

10 is not so bad, but after the 4th you should have demanded a qualified person
Once had 5 attempts to get bone marrow core from my pelvis the day before a 750 mile ride, that was a tad sore! so I will go with sympathy and only laugh a little bit |

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum |
I once got turned down donating blood because they couldn't get a vein. I had a fair few holes in my arms that day. Also had blood taken from the back of my hand. That was painful.
Apparently dehydration makes your vein walls tougher. That's what they told me anyway. |

Ouch really ouch. They stopped after 8 on me as I was getting too distressed. My inner arms were black and blue after a couple of days. Round 2 involved the nurse they get in for difficult patients She got it first time. Hugs and kisses (from the female half!) x |
