When pruning the lady garden so to speak, I find that I get a shaving rash sometimes, especially if it's quite soon after shaving previously (1-2 days)
Does anyone have any tips as to how to stop this or minimize it? I've tried different razors etc and shaving cream is a no no, it just makes it worse
I currently use Wilkinson sword intuition blades with the soap already round the blade |

Dont know if works on 'lady garden' but with the meat and veg I use hair conditioner now
Read it somewhere, tried it and just works so well, and really reduced the issues afterwards
May work, may not, does for me though |

I have always had the same problem and decided to try Veet cream instead....I have to say I will not be going back to razors!! Slap it on, have a lie down for 20 mins, shower off and all done! For me it is smoother than shaving and lasts longer too! |

I used to use veet all the time but only on my legs, put it on 1 day and it burnt the whole of my legs from top to bottom after being on about 2 minutes, took about 2 weeks to go down and was agony, hence I don't want to try it again |

I burnt off several layers of skin with the sensitive veet. Couldn't wear anything on my legs for a few weeks.
Hair conditioner works for sliding. Exfoliate, exfoliate and exfoliate. Moisturise after.
I've just invested in an epilator but I'm too chicken to use it there yet. |

Use less pressure on the razor - if it's a multi blade job you'll pull the hair out past the follicle and it'll irritate the skin when it retracts.
Use a glycerin based soap to wash yer bits, and hair conditioner is a good shout (let it sit for a while) - both break the outer shaft of the hair a bit, so it's easier to get the razor through it in less passes. Less passes = less chance of developing a rash.
Whatever anyone tells you, DON'T use alum downstairs unless you want to be breakdancing for 20 mins.
