Touching show of solidarity for people just like us,

or a Machiavellian governmental ploy to prepare us for a bit of warmongering?

It's what you want it to be. If people wanted to take a minute to sit and reflect, and if it's some comfort to the families and friends of those killed then I don't think it really matters if there's some evil government ploy behind it.

It's not camorons domestic policy or even his foreign policy that i disagree with. I think he is the child of satan, sent here to destroy the earth.

As a couple that visit Tunisia on a regular basis I bowed my head in silence and remembered what I have heard from older people that we defeated dictator's by staying strong and standing together to defeat such vile scum .bob

Call me naive, but if we actually worked together as one species, rather than take part in these petty war games, terrorism would be a far less prominent issue.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I took the minute.

I know there is war mongering but I also know that for all wars it is individuals who pay the price. Any violent death meted out by one human against another is abhorrent to me so I take the moment to think of those who have been left behind to grieve and to pray they can forgive so that we don't perpetuate yet more violence.

Just a touching show of respect to a group of innocent people savagely murdered. A moment to reflect on the loss of innocent lives and the destruction this will cause their families for many generations to come. And how this world we currently live in can be a cruel cruel place to be at times. That's what the minutes silence meant to me. Nothing more nothing less. Just a moment to reflect.
