"If child birth is a 9/10
"
Waddyamean 9/10???
Child birth is a fookin doddle. I got two kids and watched them both come into the world. Didn't have to do a thing. Piece of piss.
0/10 in terms of pain, more like. |

"10 out of 10
but its meant to be less painful the more you use it
I did'nt bother testing that theory out "
I have a very high pain threshold - they had to wake me to push my daughter out - honest! Just had a medical procedure they sometimes carry out under a general without even a local. Had a couple of lumbar punctures and didn't even flinch - couldn't see what the fush was about.
Bought an epilator, it touched my skin ONCE, and went straight back into the box! It hurt!! |

Try taking a few ibuprofen before you do it and apply ice or something cold to the area, shouldn't need it for your legs. Do bar in mind there tiny tweezers going around very fast! so if you don't like plucking your eyebrows, you won't like an epilator |

I would make sure the skin was warm and the pores open to enable a quick removal of ripping out the hair
along with the painkillers and bottle of wine |

"^^^ You see my ass up there.
Normally it's a matted mass of purple fur until I epilated the ass off... my ass.
Took me 2 days. I'm not sure how hairy your arse is but I wouldn't do it."
It should only take me a day to do my ass so will give it a try! Z |

Right - I'm going to do it after tea - if I'm not in the forums later you know I've had too much 'sedative'!!!!! Thanks for all your comments and I'll need to start with my arse as that's most in need of attention! Z |

"Zoe, first time you use it, the first few strokes will be 15/10, after 2 or 3 minutes the pain will reduce to about 3/10. the more you use it, the easier it gets xxxx"
Thanks - I knew if would hurt initially but at least it gets better! Z |

Well I LOVE my epilator for my legs...the first few times I used it it was a bit "ouch-y" round my knees...but now doesn't bother me at all.
I have used it on my armpits but prefer to use a razor.....and once tried it on my pubes.....never, ever again!!!! the results were almost as bad as when I tried using depilatory cream and gor chemical burns (won't do that again either).

"I have just bought an epilator and am sure it's going to hurt like mad the first few times I use it - but on a scale of 1 - 10 how would you rate the pain? Z"
Once you get used to them they are the best solution. They can hurt though so if you don't like pain don't buy. |

I use mine mostly on my legs, occasionally underarms but OMG! only tried once on my pubic area..... was hell! napalm would have been less painful, I was sore red and swollen for days.....and so not in a good way.
After a bath, with open pores and ice are all recommended, I say go with the wine style of painkiller. |

I bought one a few months ago.
Tried it on my legs and it hurt like hell. I kept going though and for my sins spent the next 36 hours with bright red follicles over the entirity of my legs.
Tried it on one underarm , screamed like i'd been torn apart by a velociraptor and left the pits alone.
Tried pubes in the least painful area. One touch and it was all over.
Biggest waste of money I ever spent.
Good points. Legs stayed smooth for ages.
Bad points. Best used on hair that is a few mm's long. SO once you've done it you'd have to spend weeks growing it all back so that you can use it again.
Most stupid invention ever. Unless you intend using it in different women. |

Its kinda like a nice pain on your legs but despite several attempts on my lady bits...I have had to give up. It seriously hurts down there! Tried ice packs pain killers and nearly passed out once, lol.
Shame cause it does a really good job on my legs... xx |
