Why is wanting traffic control near a school so bad? We can't even get a crossing patrol, and parents, after years of being told, still park on the yellow zigzags outside the school. "It's only for a minute!" They exclaim. Would they mind if I sat on the end of their kids bed and blew cigarette smoke into their sleeping faces, "just for a minute"?
Shiny 4x4 though? Well, that's just asking for it isn't it? |

" nothing wrong with it stall it's the person who is involved very brusque and loud rubs ever person up the wrong way very self publicising doesent join a cause till it looks like it's gonna succeed then she pushes herself forward as a spokesman . It doesent need traffic calming it needs the regular school run brigade to calm down drive and park better funny there's no problems there during weekends and school holidays |

Lock her away silly do gooder only joking as I do think there should be traffic calming at all schools.
At twenty miles an hour if a child is hit by a car I have an 80-90% chance to save there life's.
I also agree with the 30 zone in built up areas. What I don't like at 2pm on the motorway is the 50 speed limit for road works and not see any one working.
Rant over have an amazing day guys stay safe so I don't have to visit you x |

It's the numptys that force us down the route of putting in calming measures. Some people will not, after years of requests by the school, learn to drive and park more safely round the school. Unfortunately it's the brusque and loud who get heard and things get done. |

Isnt that a normal car though? Pretty sure if a kid hits a 4x4 because of the height their head will still impact?
Someone correct me if I am wrong though |
