Great, another thing women have to be concerned about.
I generally see the women with thigh gap at the gym, but they don't do it for me because most of them look unwell they are so slender.
I'm too chubby, but will keep my curves and my average thighs. |

I have one.
I also have a fat ass and power lifters legs.
It's got very little to do with being a certain weight and more to do with your natural genetics. My legs are widely spaced for my height and build, I am of a healthy weight (actually slightly overweight right now), therefore I have a natural thigh gap. |

I don't define anyone by a physical attribute. The only thing I avoid is big cocks - but that is my physical limitation, nothing to do with them. Its painful for me.
Other than that, its about the person, not some physical ideal. |

A nd that is a great attitude to have bit not everyone is the same. I just don't see why women should be concerned about having certain things. If they want them they'll work hard to get them. If they like the guys that like the thigh gap then they'll get a thigh gap. If not then they won't. Comments about women having to be concerned about thinhs actually create more body consciousness than the op saying he likes them. He didn't say every woman had to have one. |

Eh, everyone's different, if someone's healthy & comfortable in their own bodies, that's great. I have nice toned legs that I'm very happy with.
HOWEVER... watching young girls deliberately starve themselves or damage their health in other other ways to gain the so-called "perfect" body shape - and I have noticed teen girls desiring a thigh gap - is unhealthy and should be discouraged.
And yes, I understand that is possible to be slender & healthy  |

Thigh Gap does seem to be one of the particular focus points for the pro-ana thinspo stuff you see on Instagram and that's worrying, because as Wasphunter pointed out above its about more than just how thin you are, so it seems a dangerous thing to fixate on. |

I'm a fan of big thighs myself, and the gap doesn't tend to be seen on those. But my attraction to a big thigh lies in the outer curve, so I probably wouldn't notice a thigh gap! I can see why it's attractive. Historically, it was used as a method of safe sex. I think I could try that! |

Ive got one and im definitely curvy. As others have said i dont think a thigh gap is a measure of somebody being unhealthily underweight, its just what shape you are x |

Mine's only at the bottom half coz i lost loads of weight and got saggy skin at the top. It just looks like i've got normal thighs though so not too bad... |

Usually people mean when you get a visible triangle under your vulva, between your thighs.

Google images is showing me a lot of both tbh. I think of the triangle as different, even I get that sometimes! Thigh gap as aspired to by a lot of young'uns seems to be the thin thigh thing instead. |

I'd say so. Knees touch but gap above, but you don't look unhealthy, just naturally that shape, I think for me to achieve a thigh gap, I'd look/be unhealthy.
I love it on a woman who is naturally that shape at a healthy weight, like yours, or like wasp described, but not on somebody who is unhealthily thin. |

A thigh gap has nothing to do with weight, its something to do with the alignment of the pelvis, when i weighed significantly more than i do now i still had a thigh gap. |

I agree i have two daughters who are slim but not skinny, they are both the same dress size the younger one has a thigh gap the older one does not, they are just different body shape despite being the same dress size and neither are unhealthily underweight |

I checked mine out too and I have a gap from thigh to knee when my knees are together. But I'm not really skinny, I think I'm a healthy size and couldn't eat more if I tried! x |

I currently have a sore in the inside of my thigh where they rubbed together while I was wearing a dress in warm weather... there definitely ain't a gap there |
