Not sure a swingers site is appropriate. But what the hell. I know there are alot of parents on here. Tips for a child who won't eat anything except chocolate spread sandwich at school. Eats well in other ways for example the fruit and so on in lunch box. Also likes cucumber ones but I don't want to make her bored of it so it's a once a week thing. Just after sandwich fillings. She is a vegetarian.

My son was exactly the same...I couldn't get him to eat anything else for a long time, but he soon grew out of it. I wouldn't worry too much as she seems to be getting a balanced diet in other ways.

This - children seem to go through phases of liking specific things for a while. Then it changes.

Other ideas - marmite , jam, Vegemite, cheese spread , crackers, cooled pasta with a sauce, wraps with salad in.

Our daughter is 9 and is the fussiest eater we know she only eats cucumber and peanut butter sandwiches and there's a no nut policy at her sch so doesn't leave much choice but she does like a plain buttered roll, she's always having lotsa fruit inc grapes and strawberries and loves cereal bars, aslong as she's eating and not hungry it really shouldn't matter that it's not a typical lunch, I do on a Friday put in what we call a try it bite size thing and if she's feeling brave she will try it and it has had some success

This , don't make a fuss either. My son went through a stage of only eating sausages and oranges. Took him to the Dr and he said leave him he will get fed up with it which he did. I always put other stuff on his plate and when he was ready he started eating everything and has never stopped.

Banana sandwich? I was a very fussy eater. I eat almost everything now.

I put in a buttered flatbread from aldi (I think they are called thins - they're square rolls kinda) and then a selection of sliced and chopped veg for him to pick at - cucumber, cherry tomatoes, sweet red pepper etc, as well as a yoghurt and fruit. He then gets a second lunch at home, usually a boiled egg and toast.

If she likes the sweetness try and mix some vegetables with White Balsamic Vinagre it does the trick!! And it tastes amazing

Disappointed I really thought this was going to be a thread about an interracial 3sum and I was going to make a joke about Nutella sandwiches

Damn you sensible people

Jam or marmalade sandwiches. Send buttered bread and packet of crisps to make their own crisp butties. Grated carrot makes awesome sandwiches too!

Thank you everyone. I think I worry too much. She doesn't like peanut butter or anything cheese. But I'm going to try some ideas here. Some of them sound delish for me as well.

X

I think as others said don't worry too much although as a parent worrying is what we're meant to do. My friends son went for about a year on just yoghurts and milk. Gp wasn't worried and said just go with what he wants. He eats anything now!!

What about a small pot of hummus with veggie sticks and a pitta bread cut into strips?

You may think this is strange but my daughters love falafel especially when I put it in wrap with tomatoes and cucumber
