I have just messaged someone who was advertising a social at their place and they have messaged me back saying there is a fee of £40 thought this was a swinging site be glad to hear anyones views.

yeah I dont mind a fiver or a tenner but as it is advertised as a social bit of a con, do you think i should report or just leave.

i hold lots of social parties at mine but i provide nibbles and soft drinks and ask ppl to bring their own alcohol. there is too much of this going on but maybe its allowed i dont know check with someone

It seems somewhat steep to me. A reasonable contribution towards drink and nibbles is quite acceptable but that is making a profit.

All it takes is one inconsiderate idiot and you can be heavily put of pocket having to replace carpet/furniture.

Also depends if it's a byob or if they're doing a bar.

Carpet and furniture? Lawd, I would hope the arrangers would have more taste than to invite folk like that.
