Mine's ok!
If people looked at the profile text, my pictures and my veris - it would give them a pretty good idea of who I am!
Surely that's what a profile's for? |

I have had more interest since I deleted the text, Maybe it was what I had written or because they want to know more about me
Given enough time a chimp could write a "good" profile

Mine works for me. I have tried to be polite about the fact I rarely respond to unsolicited mail and don't meet very often without resorting to LOTS OF SHOUTY CAPITALS but I do sometimes get an urge to do that since most people still don't read it through and send me messages based entirely on my pics, then get arsey when I don't read it. |

"Mine is just a generic profile which hopefully lets people know what I like and dislike. Which is why I know exactly when someone hasn't read it." love profiles like that. Hate ones which are cryptic and don't actually say anything... Just drop little things here and there and you have to assume the rest. Bloody annoying! Although I see that more with men than women. Women are far more forth coming |

"Mine's Had a rejig recently and I think it's a bit less grumpy.
But since I am frequently grumpy at least it's representative of me!
"
This is what I did yesterday, starting to think it may be a bit too friendly now |

"I can't seem to get our profile text "right" - I think we come across as accountants or something. "
I've just read it and you don't come across as accountants to me (and I should know ) |

Mine does me fine.
Some others seem to think its too long, and how dare I have preferences... but hey its mine, and does seem to work well enough for the brave souls who meet me to tell me I am either what they expected from it, or better |

"I can't seem to get our profile text "right" - I think we come across as accountants or something. "
Seems fine to me
All I would say is the word 'professional' on a profile gets debated in the forums a fair bit but it's all down to your preferences after all it's your profile. |

Thanks - professional is my way of eliminating the punctuation-less text speakers from writing - it doesn't actually work though |

I put quite a lot of thought in to mine as I wanted to accurately express myself in terms of who I am, what I like and what I'm looking for. I'm pretty happy with it as it seems to be doing just that |
