I'm not allowed to do jury service, because of my degrees I'd be classed as an "expert witness" so could potentially be unconsciously biased. Damn shame cos I'd love to do it too! |

I always find it odd how some people get called repeatedly yet others don't get called at all. My aunt has been called 3/4 times and my cousin has been called twice at least, yet I never have. I'm not complaining either, if it was a bad case I think I'd fall apart |

Never been called due to my job (which has recently changed) but sat & listened to so many trials I wouldn't want to do it anyway.
I feel really bad for those that have the traumatic cases, once the evidence has been seen the images never go away. |

I got called for jury service years ago and had to get a letter from my doctor explaining why I couldn't do it.....I am now exempt which is good for me but sounds like it would suck for some of you who seem quite excited at the prospect of being chosen |
