Just catching a bit of Wimbledon during lunch. Last year, I was extremely lucky and got to go to Centre Court to watch, Nadal, then Sharipova followed by one of my all time favourite players - Federer.
I think that's my favourite sporting day I've been to, to date. The venue is lovely and I couldn't believe I was really there. My second fave is Gold Cup day at Cheltenham. I love the atmosphere there.
What do you consider your favourite to be? |

I've been to so many sporting events.
Been to world cups in Brazil and Germany and I went to Barcelona vs Manchester United champions at wembley.
Also Froch vs Groves at Wembley too. Miami heat basketball when they had a great team a few years back was amazing too |

I know it's hard to think of a favourite. I used to watch a lot of car rallying and have great memories of that too.
World Cup in sounds brill! I've never actually seen a basketball match. |

Car rallying sounds fun. I want to go Wimbledon too. When you went, was the ticket for an entire day at a specific venue or was for just one match? |

I have been to a few different ones. Worthington cup final Spurs v leicester, used to work at the leicester Tigers ground and got to go to the cup final just for being a steward on a bus. Done a few equestrian events and been to watch F1 at silverstone. Also like classic mini racing and classic car racing. Not sure I have a fave but I got treated by a friend before I was due major surgery and got to go to Goodwood Festival of Speed 2 years ago. I absolutely loved it |

Good luck with that, your better off getting a ticket for an autumn international. Cheaper and less like rocking horse shit. |

When your team scores a winning goal at Wembley, three minutes from the end that's pretty memorable.
Winning 4-1 away at your biggest rivals leaves a good feeling.
Last ball finish cricket matches, or ones with outstanding individual performances live long in the memory.
The atmosphere at the London 2012 events I went to was pretty special.
Isle of Man TT - a fortnight long festival of sporting achievement and bravery. |

Was at the Oval on the final day of the Ashes in '05 when Pietersen hit 158 and we won the urn back for the first time in years. Pretty special.
Been lucky enough to go to quite a few events. A close second for history and drama was probably when England played Ireland at rugby in Croke Park. The significance was immense and the atmosphere extraordinary. |

oooh... good question....
i am dead jealous of my sister and niece because they were in the olympic stadium on super saturday.....
for me... its a tough question... as a sad one it would have to be the champions league final arsenal v barcelona in paris....
as a happy one... god blimey... going to some of the olympics was cool... football i have been to cup finals, been there when arsenal have won the league at anfield, old trafford and white hart lane...
but mine would be college sports (Michigan state) related... being at a final 4 basketball championship in detroit.. only 70 miles from campus, 70,000 there in the stadium
and going to the rose bowl for the 1st time in 25 years, it was a trip i think every spartan said they would make... pep rally the day before the game had 30,000 in the middle of LA, then the day of the game... the whole parade of roses... then having 60,000 in an 90,000 stadium.. and winning it in the last minute... just the whole trip is something i don't think i will ever forget |

Perhaps not so memorable as I'd forgotten until you mentioned this, but as a neutral I was at the Arsenal v Luton Littlewoods cup final in 1988 which was pretty good. |

I put in for the public ballot and was really lucky. If you look up the Lawn Tennis Association - it explains how to apply for tickets. You get allocated a certain court on a certain day, so you can watch every match on that court - that day. It's a great day out. |
